Sjövillan Bed & Breakfast

The treatment was unprofessional.nnBeds for the children were missing in the two rooms we booked. This was quickly arranged. However, we would not have been given both children/rooms if I had not asked for it twice.nnThe rooms were nicely decorated but lacked ventilation and were noisier than is acceptable. I tried to sleep in the smallest room, in the narrow short bed. It did not work. With the window closed, it became unbearably stuffy after an hour. With the window open, the E4 can be heard and anyone can get in. Fell asleep after 05:00 and was woken up at 07:30 by the caretaker working with the stair railing on the other side of the wall.nnShared toilet that smells of older sewer pipes broken water trap?. We didn't use the shower.nnThe breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast. Few choices of toppings but okay. Good scrambled eggs and bacon.nnGot an apology and was offered a glass of beer as compensation for everything that didn't work. Declined.

Beautiful hotel with great service!nnWe stayed for a total of 3 nights in the B&B next to the hotel. The location is beautiful with a beautiful view of the water and the bridge and a good bus connection nearby.nnThe room and bathroom of the B&B were very clean. The service was excellent and friendly staff!nnBecause we had to catch a bus, we were able to have breakfast earlier and a sandwich for the road was no problem. Conclusion, it was a nice experience :

Beautifully located and smooth check-in/check-out system. Clean, fresh, very comfortable beds and a fantastic view if you choose the rooms with a sea view. Close to the ferry and nice patio. Something that could possibly be improved was the entry with the code which was a bit awkward and wouldn't go through after many tries. The breakfast was simple and nice, but maybe a piece of cake and bread other than french bread would have raised the bar! Overall nice and good place!

The room in the lake villa was not good, incredibly cramped and a strange smell, the shared shower area was quite smelly. There could probably be better rooms in the hotel part. The food in the restaurant was good, it was probably the best Wallenberger I've eaten, unfortunately in the most expensive category. The place next to Ångerman River was magical!

Nice rooms but very responsive and good mattresses. Very nice staff and the food was exclusive and culinary and tasty! A magical place that we will return to!
