They never gave us a cone for our cats head when he got castrated. They said ”male cats extremely rarely licks their behind after being castrated so no cone needed”nnWell he did need it and it caused him to bleed when he licked himself. Had to go back to the vet and of course they charged me for 10min approx 1200sek and then approx 600sek for the medicine I had to get at apotek. Poor kitten suffered pain because this people cannot do their job normally, just because most cats don’t lick them self it doesn’t mean my will not do it, ans I specifically asked for cone after surgery but they dismissed it. Not only not qualified stuff but also their clinic should be reported for animal abuse and medical neglect. If you love ur pet please do not go to this clinic!!! It’s not safe
Not a great experience. Animal got unnecessary invasive treatment right away, no discussion on the type of treatment possible even though i feel there were options to try first without complete surgery a drain with complete anesthetic for treatment of an abses. The drain served no purpose eventually, after opening the abses the animal was already fine. Animal needs to be completely sedated with muscle paralyser or whatever this is called even for just shaving and the vet refused to try to shave without. The collar that was given to prevent licking the wound was far too big and on the recipe one of the medicins was forgotten, this was very confusing at the pharmacy. The animal could have gotten less traumatising and much cheaper treatment elsewhere. Wish I had gone to a different veterinarian and will never go back.
