Skulls & Bones - Creating Living Dead Artwork

ABOUT SKULLS & BONES ARTWORK
During a walk in the deep dark forests of Hälsingland, Sweden, Shara found the remains of a deceased animal. She brought the skull home with no intention but to keep it as a memento of a magical day surrounded by trees and silence. No more, no less...
But if one dares to stare long enough into the face of death to actually SEE, one might just find...life. Because that skull has not always been just a skull. Not long ago she belonged to a female moose. Who was she? How did she live? How did she die?
And as a firm believer in reincarnation, questions about what she might become were not far away. The answer was Aruaa, and since then there has been no turning back. Shara spends most of her time devoted to art by working with skulls and skeletal parts of deceased animals. Skulls & Bones is her vehicle to reach YOU!
It is said that no man is an island. Neither is a woman... And behind Shara, her partner in spirit, (he)art & soul, Fredrik Fernlund treads. He is the man, rarely seen, but very much responsible for introducing Shara's artwork to the world. Just as devoted as Shara with her skulls, Fredrik is in providing a place for them to be viewed by the world. Digital machines, analog walls....doesn't matter. He makes the vehicle reach YOU!
ABOUT XHAIMERAN
All poetry that comes enclosed with Shara's artwork is originally written in Xhaimeran - an artlanguage constructed by creative advisor Leo Flavum, and is then translated to English.
The language itself is part of a bigger conculture set up to mirror the ancient myths which have come and gone again and again thoughout the history of mankind. Man might be mortal, but myths outlive us all.

I believe in the importance of each and every brush stroke and effort put into details, each piece is unique, unrepeatable. The passion and intensity of each piece reflects both my individual artistic aims and sometimes reflections of my personal journey through life. Now I not only create living artwork I also create living dead...
