This is the largest spherical building in the world apparently. You can take a ride in a smaller spherical gondola over the shell of the building. It is unique, there is nothing like it in the world. My wife was fascinated by the engineering which kept the floor of the gondola level. It was a shame it was drizzling as it made the views rather grey, but you could make out all the landmarks easily enough. The ride up took about 10 minutes with a 5 minute stop for the panoramic views at the very top then back down again. Well worth doing. The labelled panoramic pictures helped us find and identify the buildings in the distance. However I did find it odd that the shop at the bottom had nothing for sale related to the Sky View.
Just as expected; a short 10 minute? rid up the outside of a sphere arena in a clear gondola.nGood views at the top.
Cool experience and beautiful views! Just wish it would of lasted a little bit longer.
The dome wasn't really tall, but still it offers a panoramic view of Stockholm. Stays at the top at around 10mins which is enough for taking photos of the view. It's located near the Avicii Arena. I'll suggest go there on a Sunny day instead as you could take better photos by then.
I visited SkyView in Stockholm and had a wonderful experience. The ride offers amazing panoramic views of the city — a great way to see Stockholm from above. My child really enjoyed it, making it a fun and family-friendly activity. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the waiting time was short, only about 5–10 minutes. Overall, a smooth and memorable visit!
