The Södertälje depot was completed in 2009 and is 25,000 square meters with space for 16 modern X60 trains. The depot is equipped with the latest technology for washing, graffiti removal and cleaning. The depot has strict environmental requirements, including solar cells installed on the roof to reduce energy needs.
The public is not allowed to enter. Railway area. But probably the best depot in the commuter train network right now!
You only stay here out of necessity. Cold in the room, poor breakfast.
Great to see one of our largest depots at MTR
Always nice to stop the train at the depot.
