I had the pleasure of spending a few days at this hotel on the occasion of the Ironman Kalmar. The hotel is very quaint while keeping the spirit of the city, it is very quiet in a great location to get around the city forgetting about the car or bus. The staff is super friendly and helpful and will really make you feel at home. The services are great and the restaurant is quality. The outdoor garden is just the perfect place to relax! We will definitely come again !
Surprisingly quiet as the room faces the restaurant which is open almost all day.nWonderful buffet breakfast with excellent quality and selection. The staff so kind and pleasant- especially lovely kind woman who allowed us to store our luggage while we did sightseeing on our last day and the kind young man on nights who let me indulge in my early morning caffeine addiction at 5.30-6 o’clock. It reinforces my opinion about the importance of having good receptionists as people interactions are so important to visitors.
Fantastic location near the castle obviously. Really relaxed vibe in the evening with the outdoor bar. Incredibly friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent.
Lovely hotel on the south side of Kalmar, just outside the city centre. Very close to the Kalmar castle. If you continue a bit further to the south you will find hiking/cycling paths that will lead you to small beaches and harbours.nThe hotel itself has a beautiful old charm. The rooms are nicely decorated and well-maintained.nThe staff had been very welcoming and friendly.nBreakfast buffet offers a wide variety and everyone will find something to their liking.
Great experience at Slottshotellet, friendly and kind staff, a wonderful buffet breakfast and perfect location!!
