Big park to explore and walk round. Small gardens to look at. Play parks. Lovely big green spaces. Free to enter and tram/bus stop on the edge of the park.nnFurther up the park there is a zoo where there are animals native to Sweden. There are Moose, the wild pony of Sweden and seals. Good views from the zoo over the city.
Large, beautiful park perfect for a relaxing day out. It has open spaces, playgrounds, and a free zoo with animals like seals and penguins. There are also lovely walking paths and picnic spots. It’s a great place for families and anyone who loves nature.
Wow is all I can say. Wish we had public parks like this in the England. The kids loved the play area and the petting zoo. The park is fairly hilly to walk around but is certainly worth the effort, despite being busy it just felt very quiet and so relaxed, defiantly one to visit if in the area.
Enjoyed the playground and zoo on our morning walk today. Toddler had a blast. Definitely could see the being a frequent stop for us.
A must see in Gothenburg! Such a beautiful park. Lots of activities, especially for kids. Plikta is awesome but there are many other smaller playgrounds, such as the one behind Azalea Cafe. Kid's zoo is great: goats go freely and love being clapped! Remember also to pass by and say hi to the seals and penguins!
