Smågårde natural forest

Pretty little forest, well protected from the wind, even though it's right next to the sea!nWe did the 1 km blue trail. It's well marked.nWe didn't encounter anyone low season, a Sunday, October 2025 and we did it with young children however, it's a bit tricky if you have a stroller, given the trees you have to climb over. There are small wooden bridges to cross, with a small river flowing underneath. Very cute.nThere's a large parking lot.

Nice forest to stay in.nnA little different for me, as the forests I have walked through have looked completely different.nnSmörgårfe nsturslog is located next to the sea on an island, Gotland. Lots of sand, mixed with forest moss, and the trees that have grown up with different soil and weather conditions.nnFantastic that they have chosen to care for the forest.nnSomething to consider.nnIn many places it is forbidden to make a fire with branches from bushes and trees. It is also not allowed to use dead branches on the ground.
