Söderåsen is a ridge in Scania in southern Sweden. On Söderåsen can you find Scania’s highest point: 212 m above sea level. It is intersected by several fissure valleys. The ridge extends from Röstanga in the southeast to the Åstorp in northwest.
Söderåsen National Park is located 30 km east of Helsingborg in Skåne.
Söderåsens National Park
The Söderåsen National Park is a designated area of about 16 km². Söderåsen national Park established in 2001 in Klippan and Svalöv locals. It ranges from Skäralids ravine in the north to the south Nackarpsdalen. The area was already protected, but then it got stronger protections.
Popular destinations to check out in the national park is Oden Lake in Nackarpsdalen and viewpoints Kopparhatten, Hjortsprånget and Lierna along Skäralidsdalen.
Kopparhatten
On Söderåsen can you find the viewpoint Kopparhatten that is 200 meters over the highest point in Söderåsens national park. This part of the hill has a particularly dramatic landscape, with up to 90 meters deep ravines.
Oden Lake
Oden Lake is a lake in Scania, in Sweden and belongs to Söderåsens National park. The lake is circular in shape, with a diameter of 150 meters and it is 19 meters deep.
