Reading these reviews before going to Stockholm made we very worried about the place I was going to live, luckily the comments did not reflect my experience at all.nnI came to a nice, modern and clean apartment with lots of storageroom. A common area with free wifi, an opportunity to book a kitchen-room for free to host dinnerparties, though I did not use a cinema and gym was also available for free. Although I didn’t attend any of the social activities, the fact that SBS organised social activities for the residents made me feel welcomed and safe.nnIn my experience the it was a few weird residents responsible for messing the stairs, corridors and elevators, which SBS did all their best to keep clean and tidy.nnOverall I felt at home in Spånga and enjoyed living at SBS - I can recommend this to others looking for a place to live in/near Stockholm.nnJust be ware of their moving-out inspection, they do net mess with cleaning.
Spånga Campus Star by SBS is an excellent living option for students. The apartment complex offers a variety of unit sizes, ranging from 16 to 35 square meters, and some larger ones catering to different needs. The apartments are newly built, with well-thought-out layouts and furnished kitchens, making them highly practical and comfortable. One of the highlights is the range of amenities available to tenants, such as a gym, shared kitchen, cinema, and more, all of which can be booked as needed. The landlord is also responsive and helpful, ensuring a pleasant living experience.nnAdditionally, there are both Lidl and Coop stores within walking distance, so as a student, there’s no need to worry about daily needs. The complex is also conveniently located near Spånga station, making it easy to commute anywhere in Stockholm. Overall, it’s a lovely place for students to live, offering both convenience and comfort!
: Nice and new rooms, great co-working space, great to have Coop and Lidl close, small but good gym - though many people that have visited me have mentioned that the corridors of the buildings look like a prison they indeed do. If something breaks in your apartment, the handymen are there fast - which is cool. They are cool and helpful.nn : Absolutely expensive when taking into account that you have to buy lots of stuff new - plates, cutlery, pillows etc. - it all adds up. You are not even allowed to leave it for the next tenants - suuuper unsustainable. The heating was not working even in the deepest winter - I had to turn on the stove when I was freezing. You also only have 4 laundry slots per month. Yeah.nn : Spanga Campus Star feels like they hate their own tenants and want to squeeze every penny out of them, like a fun freemium service where you end up paying for every basic service extra on top. I even heard they increased their monthly rent AGAIN.nnWe once hosted a dinner party at the common kitchen which you have to book 2 weeks in advance, cleaned everything perfectly, but forgot to take out the fresh plates out of the dishwasher. We were charged . For leaving in a dishwasher.nnAbsolutely bonkers.nn : 4/10, I do not recommend going there if you have another option available! There are other student accommodations who seemed like more fun. :
