Ställplats Björkö Hamn

It doesn't get any closer to the sea than this. You sit in the front row and enjoy the traffic in the strait in front of you. Nearby you have a nice restaurant and in the summer an ice cream parlor. Several hiking trails around the island mean there is a lot to discover. A must visit if you are passing by. Book in advance for a guaranteed place.

I've never seen such a beautiful view of the ocean. It feels like you're standing in the middle of the ocean. The ferry is free, too. The restrooms are well-maintained and clean. Water and electricity are available.

Good place but not enough space inside the parking lot. There is a man who walks around outside the parking lot checking the registration number if your car is parked or not, he has strong opinions.nWorth thinking about.nI was standing outside in a regular parking lot with permission from the parking attendant to park like that with a camper. I parked my car when I'm not driving. I usually do that for the sake of the economy. Then I get jumped by a man who checks the boats. It felt very unpleasant. He was standing there and had then seen my car parked. Questioned this. I myself wondered what he had to do with my car?nThis man had strong opinions about us with a camper. Very sad. At least it makes me not want to go to Björköhamn with the camper again. Terribly disparaging rating because of him, for such a nice island with lovely Allsång at the Seaside restaurant.

It's been a couple of years since I was at this campsite. Visited it yesterday and not much has happened. Poorly marked pitches, good payment system. Emptying of black water for fixed tanks lacks water for flushing the toilet tank.
