Great, central spot to stay for the night, or two. Can be a bit noisy in the summer. If the spot is full, just use the free parking area right after it.
Very well adapted for motorhomes - free if you don't need electricity, or NOK 50 for 24 hours of electricity. Walking distance to Karlstad city center through nice park areas. Too bad there is no possibility for refilling water and emptying waste water, or proper information about where this can be done.
The experience was not great. Horrible bus life with cars driving all night until 04 and playing loud music. Are all the police in Karlstad on vacation? Clean up!nIf you do NOT want a quiet place to sleep, you should definitely stay here. We will not be returning to this place.
Nice, free RV park. If you want electricity, it only costs 50.- per day. Short walk to groceries and restaurants. Bus stop fifty meters away with frequent departures to the city center.
