Perfect place to stay in Västerås!! Everything is so beautiful and cozy! We came for a spa day, which included a night stay, 3 meal-dinner and breakfast in the morning. I don’t have any complaints, it was breathtaking how beautiful and relaxing everything is! The food was super good and the staff was the kindest ever. There’s also an area where you can play some chill games in the haul. Special thank you to Daniel, such a good bartender, the best ever!! He made us try the Voltage spritz in the spa’s bar that I really recommend coming from an Italian girl!!nI will 1000% come again!!!
Such a fabulous place. It’s for an experience. Rooms are gorgeous with the sea side view if you take superior rooms. Spa was fabulous. Outdoor pool was amazing. And the chefs choice menu at the Asian restaurant for dinner was amazing experience. Breakfast was also nice but so many people, was difficult to find a seat. And in general it was difficult to find a table by the window both for Asian and the ground floor restaurant, so I missed to enjoy dinner by the window which was a little bummer. You could do a lot of activities at their sports lounge, watch cinema or even do karaoke.
It's a nice hotel in a very nice area along the lake. Wonderful for a getaway weekend, but it may not be a good choice for business travelers. Breakfast starts at 7:00, but the breakfast bags were good. I found it hard to find a place to work. What I found infuriating was that they have an area that they call their luggage room. The room is often left wide open for anybody to walk in. It is right at the entrance. Many people visit the hotel and don't stay there. I had to put my suitcases in there on my last day. When I returned to get my bags the door was wide open and they had a special event going on. Someone is going to have their bags stolen sooner or later.
Stayed at The Steam Hotel in Västerås with my partner for his birthday, and it was an amazing experience. From the warm welcome to the fantastic food and the serene spa, everything hit the mark. The building’s history as an old power plant still shines through in the best way, you can feel the character as soon as you walk in. It’s industrial charm meets modern luxury
Overall good experience because the staff is really nice and the place has many activity options.nThe only downside is that you are being charged extra money for a lake view when the room has only one extra small window. It is a real shame, see the picture, and I can assure you there is no window behind the left curtain, only a plain wall.nThomas & Nelly room 408
