Used Stenpiren terminal to travel to Southern Aricheligo. All the ferrys I used were all on time, with plenty of seats availblennOnly issue, there was no or I did not see any departure information boards, you have to reply on looking online to get ferry departure times
Stenpiren is a central hub for transportation in Gothenburg. It connects Hisingen island with the rest of Gothenburg. There are regular rides from this ferry station and during the weekdays it is free to Lindholmen just watch out for the green flag which means a free ride. There is a resting area to sit inside whilst waiting for the ferry. There is patterns on the floor for white cane users. However, the cycling lane which divide the bus- and ferry station is something to watch out for as it is vaguely marked.
My favorite place to just sit and relax during a warm summer day or night. It has a great view over the river and the north part of the city.
Very handy free boat thats running year round to the other side of the river. You can also catch some of the larger ferries to the other Gothenburg stops as well as the islands on the Archipeligo.
It is perfect place for drinking coffee, enjoy the beautiful sightseeing and wait for boat
