A train/bus station with departure boards and covered seating area.
Child friendly. Many food and coffee places. Located by the harbor
Poorly lit bus stops with unclear signage, at least in the evening. But easy to change between train and bus as they are close together without culverts and bridges. Just walk 20 m and the buses are there, if you find the right bus stop in the dark..
The first time I was in Stenungssund was the summer of 1967. The expansion of the square and the marina was quite modest then. Now it has grown enormously and there are many buildings. A pleasant place that seethes with life and movement.nnThe marina in Stenungssund is a must-visit, where you get the opportunity to enjoy long-distance guests/boat owners from the continent, in boats that you can only dream of. A fantastic promenade along the entire marina with comfortable sofas, where you can sit down and just enjoy the sea and boats.nnMany of the visitors come by land. But a common way to get there is by sea. Many summer guests come by boat to shop in a throng of which Stenungssund is characterized by a differentiated business life, where the petrochemical industry plays a prominent role.nnYou won't miss anything here. Child-friendly swimming areas in the immediate area. As always, bringing a packed lunch is a good suggestion. Stenungsund is always worth a visit if you are passing by.
Buses, trains and cars with people running here and there.
