We strongly recommend Prinsvillan as the place to stay when visiting Tyresö or Stockholm! Such a premium stay and the surrounding is stunning. Annette took such good care of us, a family of four with young teenagers.nnThank you and look forward to next time!!
Charming hostel in a nice green environment. The staff is welcoming and will help you to organise your activities in the neighbourhood. It was very pleasant to spend a few days in this peaceful place near Stockholm
So this was an amazing place, with a combination of small modem conveniences in a setting of old buildings amid beautiful scenery. A close walk to Tyresö Slotte, along a small stream that empties into the lake. We had our daughters, 8 and 9, and they had a wonderful time. If you have a group, and can stay at the Prinzvilla, it is quite beautiful and well restored. Calm and beautiful. Strongly recommend. Staff was very helpful accommodating us in English.
A Realy nice hostel with a cozy atmosphere. This is a place to write a book at, or just wander the fantastic surrondings for inspirations for ever. Eat a dinner at the Castle, Visit the Church, have a Fika at tha Pilgrimage center. or just walk by the waterfront. But be careful . Tyresta national park is nearby so you could be lost in your dreams for ever here. :D
Spent the night before my wedding and the wedding night here. Had booked 1 family room and 2 double rooms.nnI had asked if we could have our ceremony down below the house, on the grass area, for 1h, which they said was not a problem as long as we left it the way we found it, which we would do of course! However, the day before my wedding ! the manager calls and says we can't be there, and that her staff member had given us incorrect information. In the end she said we can be there but she was not happy about it. An added stress no one wants before their wedding.nnShe had obviously made up her mind that we weren't welcome from that second, so everything we did on my wedding day was a problem.nnWe had paid for a family room for 5 people, next to our room was the living room, which is for everyone to use. However when I'm getting ready there with my Stylist, we're 2-3 people in the living room. She charges in and tells us we're not allowed to be in there because her other guests feels that they can't be there. It was like she forgot that we actually paid for the family room and should have equal right to be in the living room as any other guests, but when we were 3 people in there we get told off.nThis is a sunny Friday morning... the only family that was sharing the living room was a lovely French family who wished us all the best and thought it was exciting that we were getting married! They were going outside to explore the area and of course we weren't in their way they told us when we asked.nnWe had a few people dropping a few things off and then left straight away. Apparently we were in quarantine and no one else was allowed to enter the B&B because they got told off each time...nnWe ended up having a beautiful wedding but it was not thanks to Prinsvillan/ Lilla Tyresö vandrarhem.nnWe had booked Bygdegården for the dinner since they can seat up to 100 people whilst Prinsvillan can only seat 50 people. We had also booked Fiskarboden - on Notholmen for our wedding guests to stay. Both these places were so much friendlier and had the best approach compared to Prinsvillan.nnSo I would recommend you booked with them before considering Prinsvillan.nnI normally don't write bad reviews but we were treated too poorly to not write something.
