Really great multimedia art exhibition, far exceeded expectations for a small suburban art museum. Fantastic food, and welcoming staff who shared a bit about the amazing community work they also do. Donation based admission, pay what you'd like.
A truly international art space that deals with contemporary issues, images and ideas in complex and engaging ways. The standard of exhibitions is consistently high and the artists who are involved consistently have powerful work. There is a strong sense of community engagement that defines the space too, and it is always possible to understand the art in relation to local experience. In this sense Tensta Konsthall is a portal to the often unrepresented dimensions of contemporary urban Sweden, and in particular Stockholm.
This museum, as well as the neighborhood, is a must-go for anyone visiting Stockholm and is interested in seeing the whole picture, i.e. more than the middle-class mostly white parts of Stockholm that are advertised by virtually all city guides.
Worth a visit. It's always good to get away from the city center : Interesting exhibitions and a great Ethiopian cafe. Voluntary admission
It's a place to share with friends while drink a cup of coffee, but about art, it's not to much, nice place to learn swedish every Sunday
