Stora Ekeberg

This was surprisingly nice and is highly recommended, especially for families visiting Skara Sommarland wich is a 10 minute walk. Though you can sense some less glamorous past times of this building in the prison-like doors and metal bunk beds, it is now becoming a comfortable and beautiful place containing everything you need. It is a marvellous building! It has a lovely garden, a nice playground, parking just outside. It is very clean. Shared toilets but they are close and many. Fully equipped shared kitchen, everything you need. Nice decor. Staff is super friendly and helpful. You could easily spend an extra day here just resting and enjoying your holiday.

Cosy, newly renovated and fresh premises. Very nicely decorated. Well maintained and new.nnPretty cool to be able to sleep in old sanatorium rooms hospitals.nnA little further away from the actual playland, but worth the short walk.nnWishes for a restaurant, but we were still relatively satisfied with the vending machine with food and other things they had.nnOne of the few negative things about the hostel was the heavy doors, would have been great with door openers, especially for the bathrooms and toilets.

Incredibly good location near Skara Sommarland. Beautiful green areas. The buildings quite unfinished so far. Very responsive. Fluorescent tube fittings in wet areas sometimes not encapsulated. Substandard cleaning of toilets. No bedside lamps in the rooms. Poor instructions both on the web and on site.
