Beautiful town and center. Go down to the docks. Buy some fantastic icecream or deli at Gusto next to the square.

First time here on a Summer day .. warm and shining day in August 1st week 2021

Nice square with a couple of nice eateries. We chose Wheat and Rye and then sat on the outdoor terrace in the square. Calm car traffic and pleasant atmosphere.

The winter is terrible in Hjo, a few weeks in the summer is great. Big risk of meeting Hjo residents, so 3rd to Hjo

Hjo Torg, like many other Swedish city squares, is a late old meeting place and hub in the city and is bordered partly by the church, funkist buildings and the old beautiful wooden town in Hjo. The square itself is still busy and it is becoming very unique in Sweden regarding central squares that there is still car traffic. A cozy environment and maybe not the prettiest in Hjo, but still does well in all the competition in this well-visited summer resort!
