The promenade is simply gorgeous, with charming views of the sea. Nothing beats a walk here, with the cool sea breeze hitting your face. nnThe restaurants and cafes around were top-notch with great food and welcoming staff. The cleanliness was commendable, proving how well-maintained the area is. And let's not forget about those serene sunrise and sunset views! Truly a sight to behold! nnIf you're looking for a location to relax and soak in some tranquility, then Strandpromenaden at Oljehamnsvägen is the place for you! Uddevalla Strandpromenad is a beautifully maintained coastal walkway that offers a relaxing and scenic experience along the fjord. It’s easily accessible by public transport, with a bus or train stop nearby followed by a pleasant 700-meter walk to the starting point. From there, it’s around a 2-kilometer stroll to reach the fjord, with wooden boardwalks, rocky landscapes, and peaceful nature along the way. There are several swimming spots where you can take a refreshing dip, and benches where you can pause and enjoy the views. The path is clean, well-marked, and family-friendly. Toilets are available along the route, and there is also parking nearby for those coming by car. Whether you're walking, swimming, or just enjoying the sea breeze, it’s a lovely spot to spend a few hours in Uddevalla.
A very nice walkway by the sea, a true must when visiting Uddevalla. Also make sure to enjoy the amazing view from Lövåsberget by climbing the stairs to the top.
Easy to walk promenade, 9km long going from city to see. Partly wooden bridge or gravel. Accessible for mobility scooters.
Lovely walk on the side of the water. It ends with a little park and a beach where you can chill and swim if you like.
