The Kosterbåterna ferries are the fastest unless you're a multimillionaire and can afford a water taxi and cheapest way to travel to the Koster Islands. Depending on the season, the ferries run up to 10 times a day. The cost for an adult is around €14 for a round trip. The catamaran ferries are very fast and have a lovely interior. In bad weather, large panoramic windows offer a great view of the passing scenery. When the weather is nice, you can sit on the open deck. During peak season, it's difficult to get your preferred seat, as the boats are very crowded. The stated price applies regardless of which landing stage you choose on Koster. On board, there's a small kiosk selling coffee and schnapps, as well as soft drinks, beer, and sweets. If you're lucky and keep your eyes peeled, you might even spot a seal.
