I practice my ice skating here. I once did the whole area in 15 seconds!
The ice is only there during the winter.nThe duration varies and it can be as early as November and late as in march depending on the temperature.nnI would say December to February to be sure but then again it depends on the Halmstad town council.nnGood place .people should still crossing the ice with shoes and take on their skates to get to the other side of the want to sit on the other side.nnYou will have to fix your skates because of the gravel.
The maintenance of the ice is good and the ice can take up to +8c.
Great to be able to skate outdoors. Try to get there every year.
Big and nice ice. Well-maintained area with plenty of benches around, where you can change into skates. With Vrenningebacken right next to it, this will be a really good excursion!
