This is an outstanding bakery. Their breads and pastries are incredible. We were just in Paris and these beat some of the best baked goods we had there. We ate here or got takeaway pastries 3 times during our 3 night stay in Stockholm! They also have delicious coffees and little sandwiches, which we had for lunch one day.
Great place to hang out in the morning and have a pastry. I treated myself to a ham and cheese roll which hit the spot. There’s plenty of seating between the inside and the outside which was nice. Bread was expertly made
Unreal, loved everything about it. Super patient with us while ordering and everything we got from the coffee to the food was delicious. Went to a whole lot of bakeries in Stockholm and this was a standout. A man amongst boys.
Wanted less caffeine as it was late in the day so I ordered bancha, it’s my second time having bancha at Svedjan but to my surprise, after waiting for a while the tea still looked rather pale in the teapot and when I drank it it tasted like water. When I opened the lid I understood why - it’s definitely too juicy to charge 35kr for pure water. How horribly stingy it was for the amount of tea leaves they put there. It could be a mistake but then that would be a horrible one. The croissant tasted alright though.
Wow! This is the most lovely bakery I have ever been to. Everything was perfect. We had a cardamom bun, a cinnamon bun, a cheese sourdough bun each, tea and coffee. The staff is super friendly. Moreover, the sweet buns were heavenly, the cheese is absolutely lovely and the sourdough buns were out of this world. The atmosphere is perfect: the interior is a lovely somewhat rustic style, absolutely beautiful and you can see the bakery as well. There’s lots of seating, inside and outside! There’s free water, you can refill your tea, the coffee is great and everything is well priced! As a bonus, the toilet is very clean as well! I’d recommend this to anyone and everyone.
