Hugely popular café / bakery. The variety of Swedish confectionery is eye-popping and delightful.nnThe food is on the sugary side but fresh and tasty. We had a takeaway and tried a few items. The food kept well in the fridge. Tasted still good after warming up in the oven the next morning.
We came to Sweden in February without knowing that it would give us the opportunity to celebrate our fika traditional Swedish pastry with semla, and this bakery was truly our only stop on all five days of our five-day trip. The pastries and baked goods they prepare in their open kitchen were so delicious and wonderful... Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic bakery! The sandwich was unbelievably good, and the cardamom and saffron bun was incredibly moist and flavorful. The coffee is also highly recommended and pairs perfectly with the baked goods. Just be aware that during busy times, you may need to wait a bit longer for your coffee - but it’s definitely worth it.
Not a great choice with kids or for groups larger than two. It seems to be an accepted practice for people to work here for long periods, so tables stay occupied and staff don’t do much to manage it. That said, the bread, semlas, and coffee are excellent. Also worth noting: they don’t accept AMEX.
The pastries are wonderful, not too sweet. And nice coffee/espresso with Koppi beans.nnIt is understandable that it is crowded but not comfortable if you want to stay at,and take your coffee quietly.
