We stopped on the way to the airport and it was the best idea ever. It’s a very realistic reproduction of a Viking farm, with its workers, tools, sheds and houses. You are welcome to ask the staff, which we did in much detail. Ida an archaeologist with ample knowledge in Viking history and life style made our visit all the more interesting.nIt’s completely free.
Fun market day. Enough food and drink to survive and feel full. Made offering to the shrines in the back, at the end of our visit. My wishes to Thor have been coming true.nnSellers have reasonable prices but I advise bringing exact cash because some don't take card.
Great place to visit.nReally nice personnal
It's a nice place to visit, especially with kids. Every time I have been there, there have been people dressed in traditional clothing. There are animals and traditional cabins/houses. See how people lived during the viking ages
Best for the little visitors, we had no children with us. Probably better when there are activities taking place. Portaloo was a little off putting, maybe a traditional long drop may be better or not!
