Unfortunately I cannot give zero! I came there to register my foreign account to their payment system since I need to redeem some money. The girl at the desk keeps asking for a swedish bank account, whose absence is exactly the reason I'm here for. When she finally understands, she rudely tells me it's not possible to register a foreign account, something is in contradiction with what is stated explicitly in their own website! And the next appointment to start the procedure to open a swedish account is in six months!!! Simply ridiculous service, and being treated rudely is the cherry on top.

This is 2025, where almost everything is online, yet Swedbank makes it feel like we’re stuck in the past.nnI already have all the required documents, so why is it still so complicated? To make matters worse, getting a BankID which is crucial for everyday life in Sweden can only happen after opening an account. How does that make sense when you need BankID to apply for jobs and even receive your salary?nnWhat if someone doesn’t have the good fortune to secure a job without a BankID or account? It’s a vicious cycle, and Swedbank makes it unnecessarily hard for newcomers. Opening an account in the digital age should be seamless and fast, not a 6-month ordeal.nnSwedbank seriously needs to reconsider their processes and adapt to modern times. For now, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who’s just moved to Sweden.
They never give you the right information, every time I go to open a bank account something new is missing, I already have my ID card but now apparently is not enough, I need also my job contract which is a foreign company and apparently and now they don’t accept foreign company’s contracts and it’s impossible to find clear information in the website if you don’t have an account, worst service and lack of arguments and information
