Location: Systembolaget is located in the heart of Linköping’s historic center. It’s very easy to reach from the main train and bus station.nnFood and drink: also due to the building’s size there is huge variety of products to choose among! I was very impressed by all the different kinds of wines that they sell. The prices are not that expensive compared to the Swedish standard...nnService: really nice and efficient!!!
I know you can order anything and get it delivered across Sweden, but I like to buy local stuff when visiting cities across the country. Lots of local breweries represented, first and foremost Vreta Kloster with the whole range.
In Sweden only Systembolaget is allowed to sell alcohol. Normal shops can sell beer and beverages below 3.5 percent, not above! The systembolaget shops are clean and have a decent selection, the staff can help you choose a certain wine for your special dinner . Opening times very limited.
Good selection of beer, but missing a few that I was looking for. All the normal wines and spirits and a few more besides. They need to have a decent selection, there is no other place legally allowed to sell alcohol in Sweden. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Look it's a five star from me albeit I physically fell over and injured both legs and feet and hands and tiny bit of my butt as only room temperature beer is legal in Sweden. I clarified for safety purposes if I am allowed to bring the beer home and then cool it, which it was and it became another amazing day with beers.
