This metro station is absolutely beautiful and easily one of the most impressive stations I’ve visited. The famous blue and white cave like artwork gives the station a unique and artistic atmosphere that feels more like an underground art gallery than a transit hub.nnDespite being the busiest station in Stockholm, it still feels surprisingly calm and elegant. The intricate floral patterns and painted details on the walls and ceilings make even a simple commute feel special.
nT-Centralen is definitely one of the most impressive and memorable metro stations in Stockholm. It’s not just a major transfer point where all three metro lines meet — it’s also a beautiful piece of underground art. The blue and white cave-like walls covered with silhouettes, industrial shapes, and floral patterns create a calm, unique, and slightly surreal atmosphere.nnDesigned by artist Per Olof Ultvedt in the 1970s, this station feels more like an art gallery than a transit hub. The rough, natural rock ceiling combined with the soft blue shades makes it one of the most photographed stations in the city. Even though it’s usually crowded, the space still feels open and welcoming.nnIf you’re visiting Stockholm, I highly recommend taking a walk through T-Centralen and experiencing it for yourself. It’s a perfect example of how everyday places like a metro station can be turned into public art.
slay. love the metro art. not worth buying a ticket for but if you have a single ticket or day pass anyways def do a metro tour haha
Beautiful architectural station in stockholm.
All metro stations of Stockholm have different designs. Therefore Stockholm is said to be the longest art gallery.nThis station is main station crossing all the metro lines, so it is very possible that yoı will pass by.nI have been 4-5 of tge metro statiobs and this is my favourite one.
