Great location right by the harbor with lovely views of Norrtäljeån. The waterfront setting is genuinely charming and the proximity to Stockholm 50 minutes makes it convenient for a weekend getaway.nStaff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The Scandinavian design aesthetic is well-executed in the common areas.nHowever, the beds were disappointingly uncomfortable - firmness and quality didn’t match the hotel’s otherwise polished presentation. For the price point, expected better sleep quality.nThe location really is the star here - if you can overlook the bedding issues, it’s a pleasant base for exploring Roslagen.
Åtellet is always our first choice when visiting Norrtälje. Great and beautiful location
We had Dinner here and it was delicious! Guess we were lucky to get a table! Better to reserve. Stuff was very helpful and nice. If you like good food try it. Schnitzel and crispy fish Scholle we can recommend.
We had some drinks and snacks, sitting in the restaurant on the porch outside by the water. Super nice. Reasonable prices. Very serviceminded waiters, checking up on you at intervals. Will be back. we did not use the hotel, just the restaurant part
Have been there for few times. I must say that this hotel in such a prime location in this cozy bohemian town would deserve a restaurant that would be at least decent. At least we had higher expectations of the quality of the food. Even if the atmosphere is super nice, the staff was not on top of the orders when we visited the restaurant. When it comes to food, starters were great but the mains were mediocre. My point of advice is to stay away from their sloppy schnitzel which tested like fish and swam in the oil.
