This is a really charming hostel with nice rooms, all different in style.nI can not remember when I had such a good reception at a hostel before.nnAll the logistics with cleaning, activities, breakfast and parking abilities are brilliant.nI really can recommend Vindarnas Hus to you if you are in the neighborhood.nnPlease take note that the owners do not answer requests as stated on their homepage so check that they will reply to you.

Absolutely excellent hostel. The room was well furnished and clean, new beds albeit too soft for my taste and a good sofa. With my own chromecast, the tv worked perfectly for netflix!nnThe accommodation is generally very clean but the kitchen sometimes gets a bit dirty due to some guests not putting away their dishes or wiping down counter surfaces. You have to be prepared to park on the lawn during the summer as it can get very full. As for the noise level in the house, I think it has been good, it is only when people are talking outside your window that you hear it.nnThe only thing that annoyed me was a crack in the shower cabin on the entrance floor. The location was excellent for me and a 20 minute walk down to the city is also perfectly fine. Because my job, I barely met the staff, but the times I have spoken to them, they have been very nice and helpful.nnIn summary, the stay was great. It is not possible to place too high demands on a hostel, but even with relatively high demands, the stay was excellent. Several guest workers and students lived there during my stay, which created a lovely community among the guests who stayed a little longer. It felt a bit like living in a student hall, but without all the problems because everyone who lived here was a bit older and took responsibility in a completely different way. Thus, I would not hesitate to take in here again if I am looking for short-term accommodation in övik!
