ThinLinc is a Remote Linux Desktop Server with clients available for multiple platforms. Built on Open Source, free up to 5 concurrent users!
ThinLinc is a remote desktop server that can be installed on Linux computer. To this server you can connect application servers to enable users to get for example Windows Desktops or to share the load.
Accessing your system remotely in this way is much smoother than access via X-over-ssh and gives you extra features such as access to local drives and printers. If you connect to a ThinLinc server from a thin (or fat) client at work, you can also access your current session from home just a it looked with all the windows the same as when you left it. ThinLinc clients are available for most systems and you can even use a web browser as a client.
