Tjolöholms Slott parkering [6091]

Beautiful surroundings! Great walks. ThenXmas market was a big disappointment.nThe area had no xmas feel. So parking + entry was expensive.

They must have had a total meltdown when they thought that it would turn out to be a success charging a minimum of 50SEK for parking here... even though that would allow 4hrs of parking. Sign of the times in Sweden to charge for everything 2 times. Heavy taxes being one of them. I will not go here again until that has changed and nor will I recommend tourist to go either. Possibly charge only for the time one is parked which is reasonable but not this extortion.

Great place to park if you are going to Tjolöholms Slott and the various bits to do with it. Lots of space but too expensive seeing the only reason really to park here is to spend money either entry fee for the castle which is fine, or spending in the shop or eating in the cafe or restaurant.
