Just a few minutes away from charming Simrishamn you'll find this wonderful beach. A nice, clean, yellow and wide stretch of sand.nnClose-by there's also a camping and a lido / public bath with entrance fees. But on a sunny day, there's no reason to there, just stay here at this beautiful beach. Even in summer there weren't that many visitors, so you'll easily find a quiet spot.nParking is to be found right at the southern end 6 hours free, so it's very convenient.nnWhat we've learned on that day is, that swedish weather can change within minutes. It was the brightest and sunniest day when a few dark clouds came closer....and the came up fast. Withing minutes we were in the middle of a real rainstorm, which lasted only about 15minutes. Enough to make us soaking wet. From then on we always kept some clothes to change in the car.
Nice beach, not crowded. The beach is not sandy, it is covered with small, fine pebbles, but comfortable to walk on.nYou can see jellyfish in the water but those are mainly not harmful to humans.
Not so crowded and more coarse grained sand which makes it easier to brush it off.
I went beginning of August, the temperature was 20⁰ and it wasn't windy at all so the beach was pretty calm and quiet. There were some people but not crowded. The sand is gold and the water super cold. If you are coming with children you must be aware that the beach is not shallow and depending on the wind if there are waves it can be dangerous for the kids. All in all, I really liked this beach and I thing it's worth the visit.
Nice clean beach . I went with my family there on Sunday and had no problem to find a place. You can reach by bus or by car. Car parking is available for 6 hours. Bus stop is at walkable distance. You will see spectacular View of Baltic Sea. There are nearby places for food and drinks.
