Tomelilla Camping

Disclaimer: This assessment is based on the 6-room cottage I was checked into during my stay.nnThe camping was a good place to visit and quite affordable. However, the environment could be better maintained.nnThe 6-room cottage needs an upgrade from old-fashioned fittings to more modern ones.nnI believe the cottage has a bathroom and toilet in place, but they were locked, possibly due to maintenance issues. These could be fixed and reopened for guest convenience.nnWater should also run from the sink available in the 6-room cottage, instead of having a sink with no running water.nnThe room I stayed in would benefit from a deep cleaning, as there were cobwebs and spiders visible in the cottage.nnMost importantly, the campsite has a pool, which makes it very attractive to guests.nnVisit dates: 13th – 14th July 2026

If you're thinking of staying there - DONT.nUsually I read some Reviews before deciding to stay somewhere. But we stopped there impulsively to stay a night. I wish I'd read the reviews. I think all the reviews are quite right. The place looks very unloved. It's an extra I think run by the sport club? The toilet and shower only one of each available, all the others were locked were not very clean. We paid 325 Krone for a Motorhome, 2 persons and power, for basically an RV Carpark. No Wifi available. For what's on offer that's way too much.

Unattended campsite in the city centre. No one knows who is coming or going. Waste container overfilled. Don't drink the water, its full of small, black particels.nServicehouse is code-operated and sometimes open, other times not. No one knows what times. No playground for the children.nnThe reception is staffed by teenagers that sometimes manage to open at the set opening hours, but other times not. Saturday is tough, then you can add 45 minutes to the opening time.nnIt's not all bad, you do get free access to a public pool.nnI would not recommend to pay to stay here as I did.nHaving said that, one could, hypotetically, just park there and no one would know if you are a paying customer or not, as there is no assigned spots and no one is checking.

Not recommended. Dirty and bad smell in the toilets and bathrooms. Broken washing machine. Some sort of creepy and forgotten camp site. Loud noises of motorbikes and explosives of local youngs or so during the day and night..

The Camp site was good but the level of cleaning in the toilet areas was below acceptable.
