A view into how old Sweden looks like. Mostly fun for kids to see farm animals and few other things and some activities to do. It is good to spend summer day in here and do some picnic. We visited during Easter holidays where they have some extra activities planned for kids so suggest to check out some schedule.nIt is very easy to reach by public transport or car and even little bit hike from train station. Spring, summer and autumn is best time to visit than winter. Some view points are good.
The farm location was fantastic. The premises as a whole is enormous and immaculate.nChildren found it delightful to see so many diverse types of farm animals.nEvery animal enclosure is kept in immaculate condition, with enough sunlight, air, and hygiene throughout the day.nnThe view of Sodertajle City is visible from the top, and the colourful autumn trees are lovely.
Very nice open-air museum.nIt's simple to get there either by car or public transport and walking. The area was larger than I expected, I liked the little houses, animals, shops and we also sat down at the Cafe.nHowever, the weather was rainy and grey and I can imagine, it will look much more cozy during snow or on a sunny day! So would recommend to definitely pick a nice weather day.
Great open air museum, especially seeing the price free :nnLots of animals to see and activities for kids.nnYou can have a small coffee break at the cafe. They have coffee, tea, soda, cake and some lunch dishes grilled sandwiches, quiche, baked potatoes.nnGeneral recommendation, just beware it is like a public park now with no entrance checks, so sadly also some youths hang around. Therefore 4 stars not 5.
A very cozy place, similar to folk festival, where you could see metal work, clay pot making, beautiful houses of swedish folk style. There were animals no feeding allowed and funny performances every day.
