As a music venue this place is 5 stars. I went to House of Metal there and was blown away by how wheelchair accessible this venue was. I have never experienced anything like it at a metal festival and it was awesome to see! There is also a hotel right across the road making it probably the most accessible festival possible for those with physical limitations. Plenty of seating too for those who require it while still leaving a good area for the younger ones to headbang their brains out. Consistently good line-up for a festival located in such a remote place, though if you fly in from outside Sweden save yourself some time and fly from Stockholm to Umea directly.
Magnificent complex of venues. I was there for Umefolk festival and enjoyed every single room and gig I've been at. Well run, good sound, friendly staff.
