More than 34,000 students attend hundreds of courses every year and they are from more than 60 nationalities. Beautiful campus and many green areas near cross by well situated bicycle roads.

Very welcoming city and people. Enjoyed the conference at Umea University, the facilities and the food.nnThey did trick me into staying up till the sunset but for some reason it did not set!

Have not been studying here, but know many who have. Everyone tell stories of great teachers and how great this univercity is. I have even several colleagues who work at IT department there and reviews from there are also great.

Very good academic environment and very complete and advanced facilities.nThis university is among the top ranked young universities that have just turned 50 a few years ago.

So glad I got to do my semester abroad with Umeå university! The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, the university library is everything you could possibly wish for and more! It was a wonderful experience
