Ultra local transportation buses run on time. There are displays which keeps showing the arriving time, departure time, next bus time and time for the bus after that also and the platform number. It also shows the map of the bus station. There's an office adjacent to Pressbyrån where one can get a physical bus ticket card. Though one can use the Ultra app and create a digital pass as well which is a cheaper alternative.nnYou can buy a ticket at the bus stop/platform as well which is SEK 10 cheaper that buying ticket inside the bus. Umeå has 9 bus lines and...18 bus stops at the central station? Most of them are arranged on the central island, where they are clearly indicated. Stops P, R, and O, however, are hidden around the corner towards the river in Västra Kyrkogatan, and the stops around L in the alphabet are up Vasagatan. There doesn’t appear to be any information to this effect around anywhere, like say a map.nnEdit: there is a map of the bus stops, in fact, and sometimes it’s shown on one of the digital displays. So I’m technically wrong. Still, incredibly confusing layout and the maps are not at all evident for people who don’t know where they are, which I imagine are the only people who would need them.
