Avoid Shipping with UPS – A Nightmare from Start to FinishnnI strongly advise against using UPS based on my recent experience. What should have been a straightforward shipping process turned into a stressful and chaotic ordeal.nnAfter carefully entering the details for 10 packages totaling 210kg into the UPS website, I encountered an error at the payment stage. Despite the website crashing, the payment was deducted from my account—yet I received no shipping label, no confirmation email, and no order reference.nnI contacted customer service, who apologized and asked me to provide the shipment details again over the phone so they could process it manually. Still, no confirmation or email was sent. Later that day, I received a call from UPS informing me that since I had no label, the driver wouldn’t be coming to pick up the packages. Instead, I was instructed to drop them off at a UPS service point in Gothenburg—as the “fastest” solution.nnI had to hire two cars to transport my 210kg shipment to the service point. Once there, it was clear no one knew anything about my case. I had no proof, no reference number, and nothing to show the staff. They asked me to re-enter all my shipping details on their computer. I did this twice—and both times the website crashed again.nnI spent two hours at the service point, and the staff had no solution. They said the only option was to use the non-functional website. Customer service gave me the absurd advice to take the packages back home and return the next day. I was beyond frustrated.nnThankfully, one compassionate staff member, noticing my distress, helped me manually reprocess the payments and printed labels for each package individually. Without her, I don’t know what I would’ve done.nnUnfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. Once in the Netherlands, I had to stay home from 9 AM to 5 PM over three separate days just to receive all my packages. There was no clear delivery schedule—just vague windows and piecemeal deliveries.nnTo top it all off, the condition of the packages upon arrival was terrible. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.nnThis experience has been exhausting, infuriating, and deeply disappointing. If you were in my shoes, how would you feel?
Never Use UPS – Worst Delivery Experience EvernnUPS is an absolute disaster of a delivery service. I strongly advise everyone to avoid using UPS at all costs.nnI had a return package for which I paid the invoice, and it’s now been over a month, and I still haven’t received my item back. No update. No responsibility. No resolution. Just silence.nnTo make things worse, I was supposed to receive another package on Wednesday. It was marked as “out for delivery” the entire day — and again on Thursday. Both days, the package was literally driven around town in a UPS van only to be rescheduled at the end of the day with no delivery attempt whatsoever.nnEven after I called customer service, explained the urgency, and asked for help, they did nothing. In fact, it felt like they went out of their way to ensure I wouldn’t get the package before the weekend.nnUPS is completely unreliable, unprofessional, and clearly doesn’t care about customers. Avoid them if you value your time, money, or sanity.
They lied and said they attempted to deliver, but i was at home, no missed calls, no knocks no nothing. This is not even the first time they do this. I even talked to support 5 minutes had to wait in phone queue after i was notified about the “attempted delivery”. Suprise suprise they are not able to contact the driver. Id give them a negative amount of stars if i could
Avoid UPS at as long as you can - they are a total nightmare with horrible lack of service.nnThey were supposed to deliver a package of garments to my address which was correctly printed at the label of the package - something they failed in. Instead they delivered the package to another slightly random address about 3km away where the streen name did not match, neither the postal code.nThey provided a photo as an evidence that the package was delivered - with the problem that the color of the door and the house the package was delivered to did not match my house.nnAfter many minutes in phone queue, I was delegated to international support which promised to call back within an hour, something that never happened.nnAfter days of investigation the package was luckily located by myself via a local Facebook group.nUPS didn't resolved this, I did it myself and it took a lot of time and effort to resolve - 1 week in total.nnAvoid at any cost!
Extremely Disappointing Service from UPS.nnI had a terrible experience with UPS, and it seems like I’m not alone. My package was supposed to be delivered to my home, but they falsely claimed that delivery was attempted and I wasn’t home. This is an outright lie—I was at home the entire day, and no one came by or called.nnTheir call center was unhelpful and only added to my disappointment. This is by far the worst delivery experience I’ve ever had. UPS needs to seriously improve their reliability and customer service.
