Urshults Hotel / Bed And Breakfest

Very comfortable guest house, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The salmon plate was delicious, I highly recommend it. We were able to relax after a long day cycling by watching a movie in their lounge. The rooms are a bit old, but that's part of the charm! Rooms and detached bathroom/shower were both clean. A lovely place to stay. I was here mid August 2013. Okay, do not expect anything modern or flashy. This hotel has a comforting atmosphere, charming but simple rooms and a very nice breakfast. If you want a good night's sleep, if you want to de-stress from urban life, here it is. A safe haven. Feels like you're thrown back in history for ten or twenty years.

Nice and beautiful area but the hotel is really old and worn out. All beds are converted from bed sofas assumable from the early seventies... with mattresses from the same time, not so nice. Toilets were filthy and old. The rooms were also dirty with a thick layer of dust behind the beds and my husband got an allergy reaction, probably from dust or pets since he's allergic to that.nBut the breakfast was nice. Really nice bread and ok variety of things to choose from. Freshly boiled eggs were a bonus. And the host/hostess were friendly and nice.

Urshult Hotel is a little gem of a place, just off the lake shore in Urshult. Built in the 1920's the hotel retains its authentic period feel with lovely wallpaper and some fantastic posters from over the years. The owners are extremely welcoming, and always happy to give useful tips on the area, guiding us to great canoe and bike hire places nearby, even reserving boats for us in advance to make sure all our group could get out on the lake! The rooms are simple, but warm, friendly and comfortable and the separate toilets and showers are clean and practical. If you're there on a sunday do also go for the english tea. Scones and cakes galore! There's also a nice sitting area with tables which were great for us visiting with friends, and the microwave and fridge available for guests are also really handy.

Very cozy and charming hotell with old interiour in good shape. A friendly host and good breakfast. Very quiet and very cozy. Defenatly a place i want to return too. God prizes too
