A busy marina and a good shop for ice-cream and liquid refreshments of all sorts.nAs always in Sweden the team switched to English after one word from us. Oh that we were taught another language from an early age.nAlso at the marina is a bike hire centre, a great baker, a nice restaurant and supermarket, which sells everything you could possibly need. There's also a fish monger and a few other shops.
Guest harbor worth visiting in the Stockholm archipelago. The fairway is very well buoyed and easy to navigate. Caution is advised when departing ferries, because the fairway is too narrow. Reservation in advance by mail works very well and is recommended. Moorings with stern anchor in very muddy ground. If necessary, you can request an additional anchor from the harbormaster, who also helps with the laying out with the help of his motorboat. At wind speeds of 15 knots, much calm and attention is required when casting off due to current and the additional ferry traffic. Washing facilities are excellent.
We had a great time, sauna was clean and empty, perfect for an after sailing day!
Crowded when the season peaks during the summer but the crew and guests are nice and friendly!nNice area with restaurant, bakery and small shops.
