Västerleds Kyrka is a beautiful little church on top of the perhaps highest peak in the Äppelviken area. The Church is surrounded by a pineforest like woodland area is a tranquil place to visit even if you are not a believer or a Christian. The church is open and can facilitate weddings, baptize and funerals.
For 17 summers, together with students and colleagues, I have visited the church at every school graduation. This time was my last visit. There are many nice and happy memories and many farewells to fifth graders.nA former Ålsteiner.
A very nice church where I was lucky enough to attend an unusually good service about grief. And afterwards there was a concert with very beautiful music.
