Worst experience at a pizzeria in over two decades of living in Sweden. Dour faced unfriendly service. Flies everywhere. Salad bar uncovered and quite popular with the flies!. When I tried to pay after ordering they “politely” refused to take payment in advance, but said we must pay after eating. When we finished eating and came to pay they added a hefty surcharge because we had the gall to eat at the restaurant! When I asked why they didn’t tell us in advance about this, the guy at the till he said that he doesn’t have to tell me in advance and I can wash the dishes myself if I want the advertised price for the pizza we ate! I will NEVER set foot in that restaurant again, and advise you to do likewise. Mariestad is not short on pizzerias and there are many friendly servers at those pizzerias also. Oh, and they are cheaper also!
This is a hidden gem if you want a quick snack on a fair price.nThe place is very clean and the personnel ready to help you to decide.nThere is a long menu, split in various categories.nWe tried the one with chicken kebab and French fries. The crust is very thin so the pizza along with the fries is an interesting combination never tried somewhere else!nWould chose the same place if visiting Mariestad.
I found a hair in my food that didnt belong to me and the food was bland overall.
