A beautiful and peaceful place to visit in Visby. The architecture is stunning, and the atmosphere inside is calm and reflective. Even if you’re not familiar with its history, it’s easy to appreciate the craftsmanship and sense of timelessness. A must-visit if you’re exploring the town.
Fabulous building, this cathedral. We did not go in, however there are some steps to the side which ascend the hill behind, where you will be afforded a fabulous 9 star view of town. And the cruising ships at port!
An average cathedral; but beautiful coloured glass windows, which looks beautiful when sun light shines bright on them.nnA nice peaceful place to self reflect on your thoughts.nnP.s if you walk upstairs next to this cathedral, it is a great place to see city view and stargaze at night within the city walls.
