Vreta kloster bryggeri

The most important are of course their very good beers! I am a big friend of Belgian style and Vreta Kloster Bryggeri has really succeeded! Then their taproom is great too. Last but not least - The staff is absolutely incomparably nice. I also buy their beer professionally and it works simply superb!

A must visit if you are in the area and appreciate Belgian style craft beer. Taproom where you can order all of the brewery's beers, some on draft. On the menu are Belgian waffles, charcuterie and cheese. Some evenings there are live concerts with local bands and artists, then it is often full if it is indoors, but in good weather the concert is held in the outdoor terrace. First of all, Vreta Kloster has fantastic beer in the highest class, it really has to be said, there it is five stars. However, our visit to their taproom was a minor disappointment. Ordered a sample tray that was supposed to come to the table but never did. After a while I had to go over and check if it had been forgotten, maybe it was a misunderstanding. Would have appreciated information about which beers were on the sample tray, perhaps with a note, now I myself had to go back and ask which beer was which on the tray.nnWe ordered a cheese tray which after almost 40 minutes we had to ask for the money back because it hadn't come out. The food waffles were good but maybe at least for the price. The service at the checkout was mixed, it felt like the staff had a slightly different understanding of the beer. Absolutely could have stayed for a couple of hours just because the beer was so good, but the service itself made us sad and left. A pity when you traveled far for a visit but everyone can have a less than good day and the staff sometimes seemed to have a lot to do and were probably stressed.

I went to a beer tasting in the new brewery with a tap room a couple of weeks ago together with a friend and about 40 other people. Very popular. I had tasted the beer before so it was nothing new.nThe owner Andreas is good at entertaining and telling about the history behind the brewery, its beer and the future.nVery entertaining and above all, good beer!nCan be recommended.
