Wanpen's Thai Food

One of the best thai food we have ever had! Kids had normal spicy while we asked for ”thai” spicy. It was heavenly!nFree parking right next to the restaurant. Large sitting area outside. Seats are close by so it can get noisy with all the happy chatters!

Great Thai food that surely exceeded my expectations. The Pad Thai and Tom Yum Gai is one of the best I've had in Sweden so far. Nice to be seating outside during summer. The outdoor seating decor definitely gave off a tropical holiday vibe. Very friendly staff and quick service.n*Edited to add more pictures. Restaurant visited on 18 July 2022*

Good taste, sufficient quantity, fast service, and polite staff. I would recommend it in case you are looking for a wholesome meal in near Enköping C.nnThe only reason I am giving it 3 stars instead of 4 is because they charged SEK 10 for one glass of water. While this is common in Denmark, I have never been charged for water in a single restaurant in Sweden, across it's length and breadth.

It was not easy to put this mediocre review as the workers are excellent and give you the best possible service. Don't get me wrong, the food was good but not great. For the price I payed for the meals, I expected better quality on how some of the items were cooked. I will start on the things that were great. The vegetables were prepare and cooked perfectly. They really brought up the vegetable flavours nicely by cooking them at the appropriate temperature at the appropriate amount of time. The sauces were exquisite, really. Great flavour and fullness. Now to the parts that can be improved. The chicken was cooked properly but why was it cold under? Was the chicken cooked the day before and put in the fridge later? Was the chicken waiting for too long before being served? I cut the chicken to check if it was undercooked but it was definitely properly cooked through. Anyways, the next point of improvement is the spring rolls. I always buy spring rolls, they are important to me so I realise that I have high standards. The spring rolls were stuffed with vegetables and that is fantastic. However, because of the small size of the spring rolls, all I could taste was the deep fried dough.nnThe food was good but needs to be improved further to motivate its high price.nSpecially the spring rolls, they need to be bigger so the vegetable flavours really comes up. I am looking forward to come back one day soon and see how the meals have improved.

Good Thai food in the middle of Leksand. Mostly open for lunch they are open some evenings for dinner. One of Leksand two Thai restaurants ...it is hard to say which is better... I eat at both :-nNice owners!!! They ordered 20kg of Thai rice with their own order from Stockholm.
