Food is nice, but it is not a five course meal. Three small starters, a main and a dessert. Very nice just like the breakfast. But 700 for the dinner is well you decide.nnWe stayed on a Thursday and the place was almost empty. We paid for a superior room and got a tiny room with single beds. Putting us in the smallest room is typical Swedish hospitality. The annex was totally empty.nnThe common areas in the manor house are large but the furniture needs new upholstery

The amount of meticulousness, professionalism and sheer LOVE that went into crafting this lodging experience simply defy description. Everything from reception, room, furnishing & interior design is very impressive and feels very authentic and handmade. And don't get me started about the food. Halfway through 8 course dinner the fact that this would be a night to remember really hit home. Strongly recommended.
Owner, Andreas is so friendly and his passion for the property shows in every way. I let him know ahead of time that my husband and I were both vegan and gluten free and he prepared the most amazing food for us during our stay. Each room on the property is so unique...like a time capsule!
Absolute gem in the lakes district west of Stockholm. Beautiful old building, preserved and presented like a museum. Incredible food, wonderful hosts, and overall a lovely experience.
