This is just a small warning to everyone who has thought of turning in their car here wärkstad BarkarbynI was involved in a small crash, where they needed to change 2 rims and a link arm and the car was with them for 10 MONTHSnDuring the 10 months, the car is handed over 4 times where the judge has said that the car is now ready, each time a new fault has arisen, the last time it was the western one. Sorry for long explanation. After I got it back for like the second time, a piece of the spring broke off, so I sent it in to have it replaced as well. A few days later I got a phone call where they said they couldn't get the spring off because a steering joint was rusted and would crack when they took it off and that in that case they would have to replace it, it would lock SEK 3000! I said they would screw up changing the spring after I didn't notice anything they agreed to. Then about a week later, I get the car back, then it steers roughly to the right and when I checked, the tire was completely flat. Picked off the tire and checked then the board is barely screwed on and it's with half a nut as they cut everything along to try to get it off. So it's completely loose and all that holds it in place is a crescent-shaped nut!! For those of you who don't know much about cars, the board is what controls the tires and in turn everything that keeps the tire straight. So if, for example, I had been driving on the freeway at maybe 100 and it would have locked, the tire would have swung full to the right and 99.99% chance led to a crash. So to all of you especially those of you who may not be so car savvy, I ask you to avoid this workshop, for your own safety!
First and last time!nHanded my car in to Werksta for plate damage then 2 days later the car is ready. The sheet metal damage has been repaired, BUT as soon as I drive out of the parking lot, the steering wheel is slippery when driving straight, so they have destroyed the wheel settings on the car. 10 minutes later a lot of wrong codes appeared. Had to hand the car in again for 3 days. Then the problem was solved. In other words, they fiddle with other crap on the car that has no problems other than just fixing the problem. It was the first and last time I left my car here. And I think that Folksam should not have them as a recommended workshop!
Some disappeared from the car's tank system when we turned the car in for sheet metal damage to the rear panel. They completely ignored our attempts at contact when we politely asked if they forgot to reassemble this part and they were 0 percent accommodating when we went to them to ask why they are not responding. They claim it's not their fault the part is missing, when they clearly seemed to know exactly which part we mean.nnNo one has died and the car still works even though this is basically theft. So don't leave the car here without having a thorough check of every part in your car, with photo documentation right down to the engine so you can prove when parts are missing.
Bad service, never recommend anyone to come here the car and steal stuff and then they are not responsible the car is outside unlocked for two days on weekendsnYou leave the car in and you are responsible yourself the black cover is gone they say it wasn't there but it is in the pictures they had taken before when have they taken in the picture they had before now they don't give responsibility for it
Absolutely lousy workshop these days since it became Werksta. I brought it in to have the brakes replaced all around after an inspection that failed. The car had been serviced two weeks before without Werksta saying anything. It took them four days to order and replace the brakes. Two weeks later it turns out that they haven't replaced everything that needs to be replaced. I bring it in with a clear description that the left rear leg is against the disc at seven in the morning. I call the dealer and ask if it's ready but they're working on it. The next morning Werksta calls and says what I already told them, they haven't ordered any brake shoes the day before but will do it today. That means I won't get the car today either. What the hell are they doing. AVOID this workshop
