Typical Swedish coffeehouse with cozy atmosphere serves coffee, desserts and fresh cooked food.
I frequented winterviken for weekday lunches when I lived in Aspudden. A different set of dishes every week, I enjoyed the beef, chicken and fish preparations on most days, and the soup and bread, and fruit crumble pies on all days.nnSet beside a lake, it has the warm interiors of a romance novel set in the 1800s, with old brick walls, and cozy lighting. It’s homey, and familial. Mysig in the winter, and sunny in the summer, with plenty of outdoor seating.nnThere can be a queue on sunnier weekends, or when there’s a craft marknad upstairs. Oh, and I love the islatte too.
Such a nice place until you try the food which was really disappointing. We had lunch here a couple of months ago and ordered the meat with some vegetables - it was impossible to chew, plus it was served cold. It’s a great spot to drop by on the weekend, but definitely not for ordering main dishes, maybe some drinks
About 60 grams of salmon for 185 sek. Complained and chef said this was according to their portions. Nice location but severely overpriced food and drinks
