Discover Visby and Gotland's countryside with Consuelo, your private guide and end your visit with Fika (coffee and pastry) in an old farmhouse.
Your Gotland Tours are tailored to your personal interests and passions. Experience the medieval town of Visby, a UNESCO Heritage Site, as well as Gotland's cultural and natural sights. Besides discovering the island's culture, history and nature, you will also have the opportunity to meet local craftspeople and buy traditional Gotland products such as wool, sheepskin, food and various arts and crafts.
Take, for example, the Gothem tour, one of the many available.
During the 4 hour tour Consuelo, your guide-anthropologist will introduce you to some of the most picturesque places in the Northeastern part of Gotland, a relatively less known part of the island. Among the others, you will discover amazing places such as Gothem church, Gothem Hamman and beach, the nature reserve Storsund, Allvikänge, Trullhalsar, a burial ground from the Iron Age, and Tjelvar's grave where Tjelvar, the mythical founder of Gotland, supposedly rests. You can also visit local craftspeople such as Barbro Sandell and buy her beautiful textile creations. End the tour at Consuelo's 129-year-old farm in Gothem and enjoy homemade Swedish FIKA (coffee and pastry).
Tours are offered in the following languages: English, German, and Italian.
