My name is Tomas MorFor, "El Maestro". I was born in Mexico and moved to Lofoten, Norway in 2008.
I have been playing percussions for 28 years, developing my techniques and methods for drumming performance and I have been teaching and sharing my knowledge about African rhythms here in Lofoten for 5 years together with my beautiful woman, creating a small drumming circle with fantastic people and now we want to make it bigger!!
It is my intention to train new people and share with them the amazing feeling of playing drums !!!
The goal is to learn the correct traditional African rhythms and develop our own techniques and rhythms.
Me and my Family are very happy to invite you to our different events and workshops about Traditional African drumming and other sound techniques, we hope you find our project attractive and want to join us !!!
